During the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 news and magazines apps in Lithuania exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

LRT.lt saw a significant spike in downloads during the week of May 6, reaching approximately 2.4K. However, this surge was followed by a gradual decline, with weekly downloads stabilizing around 450-500 towards the end of the quarter.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar maintained a consistent download rate throughout Q2 2024, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 97 and 171. Active users for the app showed a steady increase, peaking at around 1.4K in early June before stabilizing at 1.3K towards the end of the quarter.

Way2News Daily News App experienced a declining trend in downloads, starting at 191 in early April and dropping to 38 by the end of June. Active users also saw a decrease, from over 5K in April to approximately 4.4K by the end of the quarter.

Google News - Daily Headlines exhibited stable download numbers, ranging between 100 and 163 per week throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating around 2.5K to 2.7K, with a peak of 2.8K in mid-June.

Tomorrow's Affairs showed fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 161 in mid-May before declining to 21 by the end of June. Active users for the app increased from 393 in early April to a peak of 624 in mid-June, before slightly decreasing to 526 by the end of the quarter.
